On February 4, 2022, the Phuket MICE Business Promotion Association led by the president Mr. Chanakan Hiranpan, along with the board of directors met with the Dean of the College of Computing, Asst. Prof. Dr. Aziz Nanthaamornphong and Associate Dean for Special Affairs and International Relations, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nattapong Tongtep, to discuss cooperation between the two organizations to bring digital technology to support and promote the MICE business. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed on February 28, 2022.

This MOU will let the two organizations cooperate in building a network of domestic and international entrepreneurs, which will lead to organizing various activities for students and alumni of the College of Computing, giving them more job and training opportunities. This is in line with Phuket Province’s policy of making Phuket a smart city, being the center of the digital economy and skilled IT workers.

CoC-PSU ลงนามความร่วมมือทางวิชาการกับสมาคมส่งเสริมธุรกิจไมซ์จังหวัดภูเก็ต

เมื่อวันที่ 4 กุมภาพันธ์ 2565 ที่ผ่านมา สมาคมส่งเสริมธุรกิจไมซ์จังหวัดภูเก็ต นำทีมโดย นายกสมาคม คุณชนกันต์ หิรัญพันธุ์ พร้อมด้วยคณะกรรมการบริหารสมาคมฯ เข้าพบคณบดีวิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อซีส นันทอมรพงศ์ และ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ณัฐพงศ์ ทองเทพ รองคณบดีฝ่ายกิจการพิเศษและวิเทศสัมพันธ์ เพื่อหารือความร่วมมือทางวิชาการและบริการวิชาการ เพื่อนำดิจิทัลเทคโนโลยีมาสนับสนุนและส่งเสริมธุรกิจไมซ์ และได้มีการลงนามความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างสองหน่วยงาน เมื่อวันที่ 28 กุมภาพันธ์ 2565 ที่ผ่านมา

สำหรับบันทึกความเข้าใจความร่วมมือ (MOU) ในครั้งนี้จัดทำขึ้น เพื่อร่วมมือในการสร้างเครือข่ายผู้ประกอบการทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศในการจัดกิจกรรมต่าง ๆ ทั้งการวัดความรู้ ความสามารถ ทักษะในวิชาชีพและขยายโอกาสตลาดแรงงานให้กับนักศึกษา และศิษย์เก่าของ วิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับนโยบายของจังหวัดภูเก็ต ที่มีเป้าหมายให้ภูเก็ตเป็นเมืองอัจฉริยะ เป็นศูนย์กลางระบบเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัล และแรงงานทักษะด้านไอที
