On October 17, 2024, the College of Computing, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus (CoC-PSU), in collaboration with Patong Bay Hill Hotel, Phuket, organized a training session on “AI Applications for Hospitality and Tourism.”
The session was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Veeraporn Siddoo, a faculty member of the College of Computing, who shared insights on the role of artificial intelligence in enhancing operational efficiency within the hospitality sector.
The training aimed to equip hotel staff with a foundational understanding of AI and its practical applications across various functions, enabling them to improve work processes and service delivery. It also prepared participants to effectively adopt AI technologies in response to the evolving demands of the tourism and hospitality industry.
This initiative reflects CoC-PSU’s commitment to supporting industry through knowledge transfer and strengthening the integration of digital technologies in real-world business contexts.
