รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อซีส นันทอมรพงศ์ คณบดีวิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตภูเก็ต ได้รับเชิญให้เข้าร่วมการประชุมหารือความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ ณ University North เมืองวาราชดิน ประเทศโครเอเชีย ในฐานะผู้แทนสถาบันภายใต้กรอบโครงการ Erasmus+ KA171 ระหว่างวันที่ 4–10 เมษายน พ.ศ. 2568
การหารือในครั้งนี้มุ่งเน้นการขยายความร่วมมือทางวิชาการในสองด้านหลัก ได้แก่ โครงการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษาและบุคลากร (Student and Staff Exchange Programme) และ การพัฒนาหลักสูตรร่วม (Joint Curriculum Development) ระหว่างสองสถาบัน โดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาและอาจารย์จากทั้งสองฝ่ายได้แลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ทางวิชาการและวัฒนธรรมในระดับนานาชาติ
University North เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำของโครเอเชียที่มีความเชี่ยวชาญด้านวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ และการออกแบบ ซึ่งสอดคล้องกับพันธกิจของวิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ ในการผลิตบัณฑิตด้านคอมพิวเตอร์และดิจิทัลที่มีศักยภาพในระดับสากล
การเยือน University North ในครั้งนี้ยังเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการดำเนินงานภายใต้ข้อตกลงความร่วมมือ (MOU) ที่ทั้งสองสถาบันได้ลงนามร่วมกัน โดยทั้งสองฝ่ายมีแผนที่จะผลักดันให้เกิดผลลัพธ์ที่เป็นรูปธรรม ทั้งในรูปแบบของโปรแกรมการแลกเปลี่ยนระยะสั้น การเปิดวิชาร่วม และความร่วมมือด้านการวิจัยในอนาคต

CoC-PSU Expands Academic Collaboration in Europe through Partnership Talks with University North, Croatia
Associate Professor Dr. Aziz Nanthaamornphong, Dean of the College of Computing, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus, was invited to participate in an academic collaboration meeting at University North, Varaždin, Croatia, as an institutional representative under the Erasmus+ KA171 programme, during April 4–10, 2025.
The discussions focused on expanding academic cooperation in two key areas: the Student and Staff Exchange Programme and Joint Curriculum Development between the two institutions. The primary objective is to create opportunities for students and faculty from both sides to exchange academic and cultural experiences at the international level.
University North is a leading Croatian university with strengths in engineering, information technology, and design — areas that align closely with the mission of the College of Computing, Prince of Songkla University, in producing graduates with world-class competencies in computing and digital fields.
This visit to University North also forms part of the ongoing implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) previously signed by both institutions. Both parties have outlined plans to drive concrete outcomes, including short-term exchange programmes, jointly offered courses, and future research collaborations.
The College of Computing, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus, remains committed to advancing the internationalization of the institution and welcomes the building of academic partnerships with leading institutions worldwide, with the aim of enhancing educational quality and preparing graduates to compete on the global stage.
