ระหว่างวันที่ 19-22 มิถุนายน 2567 ที่ผ่านมา วิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตภูเก็ต ได้เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงานประชุมวิชาการนานาชาติ JCSSE 2024 (The 21st International Joint Conference on Computer Science and Software Engineering 2024) ณ โรงแรมแคปพันวา จังหวัดภูเก็ต โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.เถกิง วงศ์ศิริโชติ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิชาการและวิเทศสัมพันธ์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ เป็นประธานเปิดงาน และ รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อซีส นันทอมรพงศ์ คณบดีวิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตภูเก็ต เป็นประธานคณะกรรมการจัดงาน

งานประชุมวิชาการนานาชาติ JCSSE 2024 จัดขึ้นเพื่อให้นักวิชาการ นักวิจัย อาจารย์ และนักศึกษาระดับบัณฑิตศึกษาทั้งในและต่างประเทศได้เผยแพร่ผลงานวิชาการที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อสาธารณะ รวมถึงเปิดโอกาสให้มีการเสวนา แลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้และประสบการณ์ด้านการวิจัย ซึ่งจะนำไปสู่การพัฒนานวัตกรรมด้านวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์และวิศวกรรมซอฟต์แวร์ โดยตลอดในช่วงการจัดงาน นอกจากจะมีการนำเสนอผลงานวิจัย Oral Presentation แล้วยังได้รับเกียรติจากนักวิจัยจากมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำของโลกด้านวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์และวิศวกรรมซอฟต์แวร์ เช่น National University of Singapore และ The University of Melbourne มาเป็น Keynote Speakers ของงาน การประชุมครั้งนี้มีผู้เข้าร่วมจากกว่า 15 ประเทศ และมีการนำเสนอผลงานวิจัยกว่า 100 ผลงาน สำหรับผลงานที่ได้ผ่าการพิจารณาให้นำเสนอจะถูกนำไปเผยแพร่ในฐานข้อมูล IEEE Xplore และ Scopus

CoC-PSU Hosts JCSSE 2024 International Conference

During June 19-22, 2024, the College of Computing, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus, hosted the JCSSE 2024 (The 21st International Joint Conference on Computer Science and Software Engineering 2024) at the Cape Panwa Hotel, Phuket, Thailand. The event was honored by Assistant Professor Dr. Thakerng Wongsirichot, Vice President for Academic Affairs and International Relations of Prince of Songkla University, as the opening ceremony chairperson, and Associate Professor Dr. Aziz Nanthaamornpong, Dean of the College of Computing, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus, as the general chair.

JCSSE 2024 aimed to facilitate the dissemination of valuable academic research among academics, researchers, professors, and graduate students both domestically and internationally. The conference provided opportunities for dialogue, knowledge exchange, and research experience, contributing to advancements in computer science and software engineering innovations throughout the event. In addition to oral presentations of research findings, the conference featured esteemed researchers from leading global institutions such as the National University of Singapore and The University of Melbourne as keynote speakers. The event attracted participants from over 15 countries and showcased over 100 research papers. Accepted works are set for publication in the IEEE Xplore and Scopus databases, further enhancing academic discourse and fostering future innovations.
