เมื่อวันที่ 5 มีนาคม 2569 วิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตภูเก็ต จัดพิธีลงนามบันทึกข้อตกลงความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ (MOU) ร่วมกับโรงเรียนภูเก็ตวิทยาลัย เพื่อเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษาและพัฒนาศักยภาพนักเรียนสู่เส้นทางเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมในอนาคต โดยมีคณะผู้บริหารจากทั้งสองสถาบัน คณาจารย์ ผู้ปกครอง และแขกผู้มีเกียรติจากมหาวิทยาลัยมูซาชิโนะ ประเทศญี่ปุ่น เข้าร่วมเป็นสักขีพยานในพิธี
ในโอกาสนี้ รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อซีส นันทอมรพงศ์ คณบดีวิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ ได้กล่าวต้อนรับและกล่าวถึงวัตถุประสงค์ของความร่วมมือครั้งนี้ ซึ่งมุ่งเน้นการสร้างโอกาสทางการศึกษาให้กับนักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษา โดยเฉพาะในด้านวิทยาการคอมพิวเตอร์ เทคโนโลยีดิจิทัล และการเตรียมความพร้อมสู่การศึกษาระดับอุดมศึกษา
ด้าน ดร.วัชรศักดิ์ สงค์ปาน ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนภูเก็ตวิทยาลัย ได้กล่าวถึงความสำคัญของความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างสถาบันการศึกษา เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้นักเรียนได้พัฒนาทักษะที่จำเป็นในศตวรรษที่ 21 และต่อยอดสู่การเรียนรู้ในระดับที่สูงขึ้น
ภายในงานยังมีการแนะนำหลักสูตรของวิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ โดย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อดิศักดิ์ อินทนา รองคณบดีฝ่ายบริหารและวิชาการ พร้อมทั้งการนำเสนอวีดิทัศน์แนะนำวิทยาลัย เพื่อให้ผู้เข้าร่วมงานได้เห็นภาพรวมของการเรียนการสอน สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก และโอกาสทางการศึกษาที่วิทยาลัยมอบให้กับนักศึกษา
นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการบรรยายแนะนำโครงการ Dual Degree Program โดย Prof. Yasushi Kiyoki คณบดีคณะวิทยาการข้อมูล (Faculty of Data Science) พร้อมด้วยคณาจารย์จากมหาวิทยาลัยมูซาชิโนะ ประเทศญี่ปุ่น และวิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้นักเรียนและผู้ปกครองได้เรียนรู้เส้นทางการศึกษาระดับนานาชาติ รวมถึงความร่วมมือด้านวิทยาการข้อมูลระหว่างสองมหาวิทยาลัย
ภายหลังเสร็จสิ้นพิธีการ ดร.วศิมน พาณิชพัฒนกุล ผู้ช่วยคณบดีฝ่ายงานรับนักศึกษาและกิจกรรมนานาชาติ ได้นำผู้ปกครองและผู้สนใจเยี่ยมชมอาคารวิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ พร้อมแนะนำห้องปฏิบัติการและสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกด้านการเรียนการสอน รวมถึงเข้าเยี่ยมชม PSU Esports Studio – Phuket เพื่อให้ผู้เข้าร่วมงานได้สัมผัสบรรยากาศการเรียนรู้ เทคโนโลยี และศักยภาพด้านดิจิทัลของวิทยาลัยอย่างใกล้ชิด
พิธีลงนามในครั้งนี้นับเป็นก้าวสำคัญของความร่วมมือระหว่างวิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ และโรงเรียนภูเก็ตวิทยาลัย ในการร่วมกันพัฒนาการศึกษา สร้างโอกาส และเตรียมความพร้อมให้เยาวชนไทยก้าวสู่โลกดิจิทัลและเวทีนานาชาติในอนาคต
CoC-PSU Signs Academic Cooperation Agreement with Phuket Wittayalai School, Expanding Educational Opportunities in Technology and International Pathways
On 5 March 2026, the College of Computing, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus (CoC-PSU), held a ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Phuket Wittayalai School. The collaboration aims to strengthen academic cooperation and support the development of students’ potential toward future pathways in technology and innovation. The ceremony was attended by executives from both institutions, faculty members, parents, and distinguished guests from Musashino University, Japan, who joined as witnesses.
On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Aziz Nanthaamornphong, Dean of the College of Computing, delivered the welcome remarks and highlighted the objectives of the partnership. The collaboration focuses on expanding educational opportunities for secondary school students, particularly in computer science, digital technology, and preparation for higher education.
Meanwhile, Dr. Watcharasak Songpan, Director of Phuket Wittayalai School, emphasized the importance of academic collaboration between educational institutions in providing students with opportunities to develop essential skills for the 21st century and to further their learning at higher levels.
The event also featured an introduction to the academic programs of the College of Computing by Assistant Professor Dr. Adisak Intana, Associate Dean for Administration and Academic Affairs, followed by a video presentation introducing the college. This allowed participants to gain an overview of the teaching and learning environment, facilities, and educational opportunities available to students.
In addition, a presentation on the Dual Degree Program was delivered by Prof. Yasushi Kiyoki, Dean of the Faculty of Data Science at Musashino University, along with faculty members from Musashino University, Japan, and the College of Computing. The session provided students and parents with insights into international education pathways and academic collaboration in the field of data science between the two universities.
After the ceremony, Dr. Wasimon Panichpathanakul, Assistant Dean for Student Admission and International Activities, led parents and interested participants on a tour of the College of Computing building. The tour included visits to various laboratories and learning facilities, as well as the PSU Esports Studio – Phuket, offering participants a closer look at the college’s learning environment, technology resources, and digital capabilities.
This MOU signing marks an important milestone in the collaboration between the College of Computing, Prince of Songkla University, and Phuket Wittayalai School in advancing education, creating new opportunities, and preparing Thai youth to thrive in the digital world and on the international stage in the future.
