เมื่อวันที่ 25 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 วิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตภูเก็ต ให้การต้อนรับ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ก่อเกียรติ เก่งสกุล (Director of International Programs for Southeast Asia, Florida International University) จาก Florida International University ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา ในโอกาสเดินทางมาแนะนำโอกาสทุนการศึกษาต่อในประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกาแก่นักศึกษาวิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ ม.อ.ภูเก็ต ณ ห้องบรรยาย 6302 อาคาร 6 ชั้น 3
ในการบรรยายครั้งนี้ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ก่อเกียรติ เก่งสกุล ได้ให้ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับแนวทางการศึกษาต่อในระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา ขั้นตอนการสมัครทุนการศึกษา คุณสมบัติของผู้สมัคร ตลอดจนประสบการณ์การเรียนและการทำวิจัยในสถาบันอุดมศึกษาชั้นนำของสหรัฐอเมริกา เพื่อเปิดมุมมองและสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้นักศึกษาที่สนใจพัฒนาศักยภาพสู่ระดับนานาชาติ
นอกจากนี้ ยังได้มีการหารือร่วมกับคณบดีวิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ เกี่ยวกับการสนับสนุนและมอบทุนการศึกษาแก่นักศึกษา เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาที่มีศักยภาพได้ศึกษาต่อในประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา โดยมุ่งเน้นการส่งเสริมความเป็นเลิศทางวิชาการและการพัฒนาศักยภาพในระดับนานาชาติ อันจะเป็นการยกระดับคุณภาพบัณฑิตของวิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ในระยะยาว
การเยือนในครั้งนี้นับเป็นก้าวสำคัญในการส่งเสริมโอกาสทางการศึกษาและการพัฒนาศักยภาพของนักศึกษาวิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ ม.อ.ภูเก็ต สู่เวทีสากลอย่างยั่งยืน
CoC-PSU Welcomes Prof. Dr. Khokiat Kengskool to Introduce U.S. Scholarship Opportunities and Discuss Academic Collaboration with the College of Computing, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus
On February 25, 2026, the College of Computing, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus, had the pleasure of welcoming Professor Dr. Khokiat Kengskool, Director of International Programs for Southeast Asia at Florida International University, United States, on the occasion of his visit to introduce scholarship opportunities for pursuing further studies in the United States to students of the College of Computing, PSU Phuket at Lecture Room 6302, Building 6, 3rd Floor.
During the session, Prof. Dr. Khokiat provided detailed information on graduate study pathways, scholarship application procedures, applicant qualifications, and shared valuable insights into academic life and research experiences at leading higher education institutions in the United States. The presentation aimed to broaden students’ perspectives and inspire those interested in advancing their academic potential at the international level.
In addition, a discussion was held with the Dean of the College of Computing regarding scholarship support and academic collaboration. The focus was on creating opportunities for high-potential students to pursue further studies in the United States, promoting academic excellence, and strengthening international competencies. These efforts are expected to enhance the long-term quality of graduates from the College of Computing.
This visit marks an important step in expanding educational opportunities and sustainably advancing the global potential of students at the College of Computing, PSU Phuket.
