เมื่อวันที่ 22 – 29 มกราคม 2567 ที่ผ่านมา นักศึกษาวิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ และคณะเทคโนโลยีและสิ่งแวดล้อม ม.อ. ภูเก็ต ได้ผ่านการคัดเลือกเข้าร่วมโครงการนักศึกษาแลกเปลี่ยนในกิจกรรม “AI Utilization Experience for the Implementation of SDGs” ณ มหาวิทยาลัยโซโจ (Sojo University) จังหวัดคุมาโมโตะ ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ซึ่งได้รับทุนสนับสนุนจาก JST Sakura Science Exchange Program โดยกิจกรรมดังกล่าว นักศึกษาของทั้งสองสถาบันได้มีโอกาสแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้และสัมผัสประสบการณ์เกี่ยวกับปัญญาประดิษฐ์ (AI) และ อินเทอร์เน็ตสรรพสิ่ง (IoT) และระดมสมองเพื่อนำเทคโนโลยี AI และ IoT เพื่อแก้ปัญหา Sustainable Development Goals

รวมทั้งเสริมประสบการณ์ด้านการเรียนรู้เชิงวัฒนธรรมและประวัติศาสตร์ และทัศนศึกษาในสถานที่สำคัญของจังหวัดคุมาโมโตะ ประเทศญี่ปุ่น เช่น ปราสาทคุมาโมโตะ (Kumamoto Castle), สวนซุยเซนจิ (Suizenji Park), ภูเขาไฟอะโซะ (Aso Mountain), อะโซะฟาร์มแลนด์ (Aso Farmland), และ พิพิธภัณฑ์แผ่นดินไหว (Kumamoto Earthquake Museum) โดยนักศึกษาของมหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ ที่ผ่านการคัดเลือกเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมดังกล่าว ประกอบด้วย

Students from CoC and FTE, PSU Phuket participated in the exchange program “AI Utilization Experience for the Implementation of SDGs” at Sojo University in Japan.

During January 22th to 29th, 2024, students from the College of Computing and the Faculty of Technology and Environment, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus were selected to participate in the student exchange program in the activity “AI Utilization Experience for the Implementation of SDGs” at Sojo University, Kumamoto city in Japan. The program was supported by the JST Sakura Science Exchange Program. During the activity, students from both institutions had the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT). They brainstormed to leverage AI and IoT technologies to address the Sustainable Development Goals.

Additionally, to enrich the cultural and historical learning experiences, as well as engage in educational visits to significant locations in Kumamoto city, Japan, such as Kumamoto Castle, Suizenji Park, Aso Mountain, Aso Farmland, and the Kumamoto Earthquake Museum. The selected participants for this project are listed as follows:
