CoC-PSU Lecturer Invited to Participate in Blockchain to Government Conference
From January 17th to 19th, 2023, Assistant Professor Dr. Warodom Werapun, Associate Dean for Research and Innovation, and the head of the PSU Block research team at the College of Computing, Prince of Songkla University, attended a seminar on the application of blockchain technology in government operations. The event, known as the Blockchain to Government Conference (B2GC), focused on developing blockchain in educational institutions.
The primary objective of the seminar was to discuss blockchain education and training for teachers, enabling them to impart knowledge to students effectively. Additionally, the participants explored ideas for blockchain projects that students could apply daily.
The B2GC (Blockchain to Government Conference) is an official event where the Thai government meets blockchain world leaders to discuss the Thai Digital Wallet Scheme and national blockchain infrastructure as a gateway to a more digital Thailand, delivering tangible benefits to its people. As Thailand charts its course toward economic modernization, blockchain stands at the forefront as a transformative force, reshaping paradigms of trust, security, and decentralization.
In addition, Aj. Ayuth Intrapradit and students from CoC also participated in the event to gain valuable experiential learning outside the classroom.
