College of Computing hosted the virtual conference, The 17th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/ Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications, and Information Technology (ECTI-CON 2020) during 24 – 27 June 2020. ETCI-CON is the premier forum for the presentation of researchers, practitioners, and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, research, experience, trends and concerns in the field of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, and Information Technology. This year the conference opening ceremony was honored by followings:
Asst.Prof.Dr. Aziz Nanthaamornphong, General Co-Chair of ECTI-CON 2020 reported the conference overview and Assoc.Prof.Dr. Sinchai Kamolphiwong, Dean of College of Computing and ECTI-CON President, welcomed all participants from worldwide.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, President of Prince of Songkla University and Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pun Thongchumnum, the Vice President of Prince of Songkla University, delivered the conference opening remarks.
This year ECTI-CON 2020 received 326 papers, including 286 papers in regular tracks and 40 papers in special sessions. About 69% of the submitted regular papers were accepted for publication. Various areas in computing papers extensively reviewed by local and international reviewers. The accepted and presented papers will be published in IEEE Xplore indexed by Scopus. Prof.Dr. Ng See-Kiong, Department of Computer Science of the School of Computing and the Deputy Director of the University’s Institute of Data Science, National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore. “Can AI Rescue us from COVID-19 and Future Pandemics?”
