วิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตภูเก็ต ร่วมเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงานประชุมวิชาการนานาชาติ The First International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence for ASEAN Development (ASEAN–AI 2018)

เมื่อวันที่ 26–27 มีนาคม พ.ศ. 2561 ที่ผ่านมา วิทยาลัยการคอมพิวเตอร์ มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตภูเก็ต ร่วมกับ สมาคมปัญญาประดิษฐ์ประเทศไทย (AIAT), IEEE Computational Intelligence Society Thailand Chapter, IEEE Indonesia Section, IEEE Computer Society Indonesia Chapter, และ International Institute of Applied Informatics (IIAI) ร่วมเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดงานประชุมวิชาการนานาชาติ The First International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence for ASEAN Development (ASEAN–AI 2018) ณ โรงแรมเดอะ กี รีสอร์ท แอนด์ สปา จังหวัดภูเก็ต โดยมีนักศึกษาและนักวิจัยจากกลุ่มประเทศในอาเซียนกว่า 30 คนเข้าร่วมและนำเสนอผลงาน ภายในงาน ได้รับเกียรติจากนักวิชาการที่มีชื่อเสียงได้แก่ ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ธนารักษ์ ธีระมั่นคง จากสถาบันเทคโนโลยีนานาชาติสิรินธร มหาวิทยาลัยธรรมศาตร์ และ ดร.ปรัชญา บุญขวัญ จากศูนย์เทคโนโลยีอิเล็กทรอนิกส์และคอมพิวเตอร์แห่งชาติ (NECTEC) ร่วมเป็นผู้บรรยายพิเศษ นอกจากนี้ นักศึกษาของหลักสูตรวิทยาศาสตรมหาบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ ได้ผ่านการคัดเลือกเข้าร่วมนำเสนอผลงานวิจัยในงานประชุมวิชาการครั้งนี้อีกด้วย

College of Computing, PSU Phuket co–organized the First International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence for ASEAN Development (ASEAN–AI 2018)

College of Computing, Prince of Songkla University, Phuket co–hosted the First International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence for ASEAN Development (ASEAN–AI 2018) with Artificial Intelligence Association of Thailand (AIAT), IEEE Computational Intelligence Society Thailand Chapter, IEEE Indonesia Section, IEEE Computer Society Indonesia Chapter, and International Institute of Applied Informatics (IIAI), during March 26–27, 2018 at The Kee Resort & Spa, Phuket, Thailand. More than 30 researchers and students mainly from ASEAN countries participated and shared their recent research achievements at the conference. Two distinguished researchers, Prof. Dr. Thanaruk Theeramunkong, SIIT, TU, Thailand, and Dr. Prachya Boonkwan, NECTEC, Thailand, delivered their keynote speeches. One of the Master of Science in Information Technology students also delivered her paper, as well as totally three papers delivered as co–authored by a PSU lecturer.
